Because makeup sponges can cost a lot of money one brand I like to use is Real Techniques. So when they came out with a new “revolutionary” makeup sponge I put it on my list of things to try.

That new makeup sponge is the Makeupsaver Blending Sponge. What makes this “revolutionary” or different from other makeup sponges is the fingerprint technology that it uses.
This technology claims to mimic a fingerprint so using the makeup sponge is like applying foundation with your fingers just cleaner. As a result, the sponge is supposed to absorb 90% less water-based makeup so you need to use less and a bottle of makeup lasts longer.
I eventually bought the Real Techniques Makeupsaver Sponge and gave it a try. Watch the video below to see how it went and what I thought after using it.
