The Best Oily Skin Amazon Beauty Finds

Oily skin is no joke. It can make your face a reflector in some light. Plus, it can mess up your makeup look. The key to this is having a skincare routine and makeup products that help to lessen, control, and even work with your oily skin.

I have oily and have tried to fit it for years but in recent years I've realized that it’s not about fighting my oily skin but working with it.

Here are the 11 beauty products I found that have helped with my oily skin. They can all be found on Amazon.

Thayers Unscented Witch Hazel Toner

I’ve become a fan of Thayers facial toners. They are a great way to remove any potential leftover makeup, dirt, or oil from my pores after cleansing.

This particular Thayers toner is unscented and alcohol-free so it’s less likely to irritate sensitive skin.

What’s great for my oily skin is I feel like it is helping my skin to hold moisture and look radiant.

Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser

This is typically the cleanser I use to wash my face in the morning. When I wash my face in the morning I want to use something very gentle on my skin but also effective for removing any oil, dead skin, or other things that may have accumulated on my skin overnight.

That is where the Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser comes in. It cleanses my skin without leaving it feeling dry or tight. Some other benefits of using this facial cleanser are it helps to
  • Reduce the appearance of pores
  • Reinforce the skin's moisture barrier using a dermatologist-backed blend of vitamin B3, vitamin B5, and hydrating glycerin
  • Defend against 5 signs of skin sensitivity including dryness, irritation, roughness, tightness, and a weakened skin barrier

Formula 10.0.6 Deep Down Detox Ulta Cleansing Facial Mud Mask

This brand has some great skin products and it’s budget-friendly. You can find something for every skin type including oily skin.

One of my favorite Formula 10.0.6 products is this mud mask. A little bit of this mask goes a long way and my skin feels great after using it. I’ll sometimes use it after washing my face for a skin refresh. Or do spot treatments to help shrink breakouts and pimples.

Facial Ice Roller

If you’ve ever iced your skin with an ice cube then why not fully commit by getting a facial ice roller? When rolled across the skin they can help with calming inflammation, soothing headaches, and enhancing the skin's natural glow.

There are several facial ice rollers available on Amazon. Here are two that have caught my eye PUR Botanicals Amethyst 2-in-1 Set Cryotherapy Ice Roller and Huefull FaceIce Roller.

Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Salicylic Acid Exfoliant

I have yet to try this but it’s gotten pretty popular and I see it pop up in my social feeds at least a couple of times a week.

This facial exfoliant claims to improve skin texture leaving it more radiant by unclogging & diminishing enlarged pores, exfoliating dead skin cells, and smoothing wrinkles.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hyaluronic Acid Facial Moisturizer w/Sunscreen

This is the moisturizer I use during the day. I like it for a couple of key reasons. The first is it has SPF 50. Not only am I keeping my face moisturized which helps to lessen some of my oily production but it also keeps my skin protected from the sun.

The second reason it is moisturizing but not overly moisturizing for oily skin. This facial moisturizer doesn’t feel heavy on my skin. Nor does it leave my skin looking or feeling slick and oily.

IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream Natural Matte Foundation with SPF 40

I haven’t tried this foundation before but it’s gotten great reviews and I know a few women who rave about the original.

This matte foundation comes in 30 shades with different undertones. Some other oily skin pluses for the IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream Natural Matte Foundation are
  • The 16 hours of shine control
  • It’s hydrating and hydration helps the skin produce less oil
  • Blurring of pores
  • It’s sweat-proof and humidity-proof

Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Pressed Face Powder

I wear this powder foundation whenever I wear makeup. Sometimes I wear it on its own when I don’t want to wear a lot of makeup. Or I wear it as a setting powder for my liquid foundation.

I like that it glides smoothly onto my skin, it feels light and helps to absorb some of the oily my skin produces.

I bounce between two shades - Java in the summer and Nutmeg in the winter.

NYX Shine Killer Mattifying Primer

For quite a while I haven’t been able to find a makeup primer that I like or feel is worth the money. I saw this one in the store and finally decided to buy it during a sale. I was really impressed after the first use and have been ever since.

It’s so soft and smooth on the skin and gives my skin a nice matte look while keeping my makeup in place. Even if I sweat a little. I share more about my first impressions of the NYX Shine Killer Mattifying Primer in this video.

Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Liquid Foundation

I haven’t used this in a while but it was my go-to drugstore foundation until I found a more expensive foundation that I liked even more.

When I was wearing the Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Liquid Foundation my shade was Deep Golden.

This foundation comes in so many shades, it helps to reduce the look of pores, the coverage is buildable, and has a natural-looking finish.

NYX Matte Makeup Setting Spray

This is another product I just started using. It’s worked better for me than other higher-end matte setting sprays I’ve tried.

When I use it I get a matte finish and my makeup stays looking good throughout the day until I’m ready to wash it off at night. I also don’t shine up any quicker than I have with higher-end makeup setting sprays.
