I have oily skin but realized that my skin was dehydrated for a long time I thought the way to deal with oily skin was to dry it out. Doing that was making my oily skin worse. Once I started incorporating more hydrating and moisturizing products into my skincare regimen I started to notice not only a decrease in the oiliness but also a positive change in the texture of my skin. This has made me more confident in going out with no makeup on.

Spoiler alert. Some of the products I liked and a couple of others I didn’t. I don’t plan on repurchasing any of them, even the ones I did like.
The skincare products I used this year that I think helped my skin the most are:
The Ordinary Niaminicide 10% + Zinc 1% Serum: This serum continues to help me lessen the oiliness on my face and stop breakouts. I’ve got a review that you can read here
The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid Serum: I use this to add extra hydration to my skin at night.

Kiehl’s Ferulic Brew Antioxidant Facial Treatment: After about a week of use, my skin had a radiant glow to it.
Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser: This is a really gentle but effective cleanser that I use in the morning. It gets my face clean without giving my face that dry and tight feeling.
Formula 10.0.06 Deep Down Detox Ultra Cleansing Mud Mask: I love this mask. I try to use it once a week but I haven’t been able to get consistent with it. So I tend to pull it out and use it when I have a pimple show up.
