So when I found out that I was getting the Laura Mercier RoseGlow Caviar Stick Eye Color VoxBox from Influenster that had two free RoseGlow Caviar sticks for me to test out and share my thoughts on I was really excited. New eyeshadows!

Before we get to my thoughts, let me tell you a little bit about the eyeshadow sticks.
Laura Mercier has had their Caviar sticks around for a while but in June 2021 they launched a new shade collection that they call the RoseGlow Collection.
In a nutshell, Laura Mercier says the RoseGlow Caviar Stick is “A creamy eyeshadow stick with 12-hour long lasting wear that illuminates the eyes with a golden rosy glow.” When I read this I was like, okay that sounds nice but what does it mean. Let’s break down what’s in that statement by looking closer at the product claims
These shadows have finely milled, light-reflecting pearls giving a subtle, natural dewy look to the eyelids.
They also have self-adjusting, demi-transparent micas which allow the shadows to blend into or balance themselves with multiple skin tones.
There are 6 shades in the RoseGlow Collection. Those shades are
In my Influenster VoxBox, I received the shades Rose Thorn and Forbidden Rose. I have to say that Rose Thorn is my favorite of the two.
Now I got these Laura Mercier RoseGlow Caviar Eyeshadow Sticks for free so I looked up the cost. They are $29 each. I was a little shocked as that is more than I usually pay for an eyeshadow palette. Then I remembered that Laura Mercier is a little higher-end brand than what I’m used to. I like these eyeshadow sticks but I don’t know if I would pay $29 for them on a regular basis. I think it would be more of a splurge.
While I’m not a fan of the price, there are some things I like about the Laura Mercier RoseGlow Caviar Stick Eye Colors are
On the other side of things, I don’t think the shadow lasts as long as the brand claims. I can pretty much get through the day without them fading but when I was in Charleston after spending time touring the city I had to do some touch-ups. That could be because of the hot and humid weather that tends to melt all things makeup though. I’d be interested to see how these hold up in the fall and winter.
For my daytime looks, I tend to reach for matte versus shimmer or pearlized shadows but I have found myself reaching for the Laura Mercier RoseGlow Caviar Stick Eye Color more and more and pairing them with my favorite powder palettes.

The creamy formula of these shadows gives you plenty of time to smudge, blend, line, fill, or define, so it's easy to create any look.

While I’m not a fan of the price, there are some things I like about the Laura Mercier RoseGlow Caviar Stick Eye Colors are
- The color is vivid and can be played up for a nighttime look by applying it more heavily. Or the shadow can be played down by using it with a powder shadow and using a lighter application.
- They pair well with my powder shadows. I've done a few looks using the Caviar sticks and my powder shadows and really liked the way they looked and I didn’t notice any changes in performance.
- They are the perfect size for traveling. I took this with me when I did a long weekend in Charleston and it made packing my eyeshadows so much easier as I didn’t have to put them in a plastic bag or wrap so there wasn’t a mess in my suitcase.
