For me, this isn’t an issue because we don’t do gifts anymore in my immediate family and I don’t buy gifts for extended family members mainly because there are so many people I couldn’t afford it. So I get that the more people you have on your list, the more stressful it can be. Not just for you, but also for your budget.

Well, I’m here to help! I’ve created three gift guides that you can use for your shopping. One gift guide for adults, one for teens, and one for kids. You buy most if not all of these gifts online and many of them for $50 or less.
So you don’t have to search for any of the gifts yourself I included links to all of them. Some of the links are affiliate links so if you actually buy one, or more of the gifts, I may make a small commission, but you won’t pay any extra.
As a bonus, not only are these gift guides perfect for Christmas gifts they can be used for gifts throughout the year.
Adult gift guide
1. Portable charger
Everyone has a handheld device and those devices run out of power every now and then. So you know that if you gift a portable charger it will be used.2. Wireless earbuds
Pretty much anyone who listens to music, streams, or does anything on their phone or tablet that requires audio will want wireless earbuds.3. Waterproof Bluetooth speaker
These things are so cool. You can use them when you're in the shower, at the pool, at the beach, or on the golf course. Basically wherever you want to listen to music.
4. Meal delivery service
Back in the day, it used to be the fruit of the month club, now it is meal delivery services. Meal delivery services like Blue Apron and EveryPlate allow you to cook and try dishes you probably wouldn’t have on your own by bringing the recipes and ingredients right to your front door. This is the perfect gift for those who don’t like to cook or want to learn how to cook.5. Stress relief doll
Cause who doesn’t have stress pop up every now and again? You can get them in fun colors including sports team colors.6. Gift cards
If you don't feel comfortable giving cash as a gift you can give a gift card and there are so many options for gift cards. The key is to give one to a store or brand the person likes so they would actually use it and not leave it sitting around. Here are a few options
- Airbnb gift card: This is a great gift for family members who like to travel. Or as a subtle hint for the ones you’d prefer to stay “offsite” when they visit. When you get an Airbnb gift card you can customize it by choosing your amount as well as selecting the background image.
- HomeGoods gift card: If I got this for Christmas I would probably freak. HomeGoods is one of my favorite stores. And it’s pretty much all the rage right now because everyone is into upgrading some of their furnishings and decor. Plus, you can now shop HomeGoods online!
- Best Buy: Great for someone who is into electronics or just wants to buy a new TV (hint, hint).
- Chipotle: This is a popular place to eat and having a gift card to this restaurant or any other one is great because it allows the person to eat out and stay within their eating out budget!
7. Wall art
This can brighten up or set the mood in a room. Plus your options are endless when giving this a gift. A great place to find unique and affordable wall art online is Etsy.8. Throw blanket
When winter rolls around blankets roll out of the linen closet. Many people try to hold out and not turn on or turn up the heat for as long as they can. When we do that we tend to curl up on the couch with warm and cozy blankets.
9. Silk sleep eye mask
I started using a silk sleep eye mask about a year ago and when I wear it I have a great night's sleep. It blocks out all ambient light which helps me go to sleep quicker. Plus, it blocks sunlight so I stay asleep longer.
10. Stemless wine glasses
Many adults drink wine at home and personally, I've found I can never have enough wine glasses because one always seems to break or chip.
Teen gift guide
Despite what you may think, teenagers aren’t that hard to shop for. Basically, the best gift is anything (on-trend of course) that’s related to them using their phone. A cool, hipster-type camera is another great gift for teens.1. Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 Instant Camera
This camera is so cute and has some good features such as a selfie mirror, a mode to take brighter portraits with a softer look, and a macro lens perfect for close-ups.2. Shower speaker
Teens are always on their phones listening to music, watching videos, and streaming movies. But they can’t do all those things when they’re in the shower without messing up their phone. A shower speaker can solve some of that.3. Keychain phone charger
This is a great and handy twist on the portable charger. By having the charger on your keychain which you pretty much carry with you everyone you don’t have to dig through a bag or have to carry a separate device around with you.4. Phone ring light
I’ve seen a few people using this when I’ve been out and about. They come in handy if you don’t have great light and want to take a selfie or video to post on social media.5. Wireless earbuds
Yep. Wireless earbuds also made the teen gift list.6. Over-ear headphones
While wireless earbuds can be great in many situations, sometimes over-ear headphones are a better and even preferred option.7. Journal
Everyone except me seems to be into this bullet journal thing, so the paper journal seems to be making a comeback.Related read: Gift Guides For High School And College Graduates
8. Hipster water bottle
I’m not even sure what makes a water bottle hipster, but it seems to be a thing so why not. Everyone needs to and should stay hydrated. Having a water bottle at the ready is the easiest way to do that.9. Binge-watching survival kit
Ok, I know. Not only teens binge-watch. I admit this would also be good for adults. Each kit comes with drink coasters, tissues, socks, face cleansing towelettes, a sofa yoga guide, and more so there are very few reasons you need to leave your couch.10. Holiday makeup kits
Some great affordable makeup gift sets can be found at Ulta. They make perfect Christmas presents and can get a lot of use at New Year's parties.Kid gift guide
1. Fun socks
Who doesn’t love a fun pair of socks! There are so many different kinds to choose from such as animal socks and food socks just to name a few.2. Tickle Me Elmo
Is it just me or does Tickle Me Elmo always make the gift guide list?3. Legos
A great set of Legos can keep kids occupied for hours.4. STEM toys
Basically, any that has to do with science, technology, engineering, or math.5. View-Master Deluxe VR Viewer
I had a past generation of the View-Master when I was growing up. In fact, I think I still have it in my closet somewhere. But this View-Master Viewer is even better as it puts you in 360-degree environments and you can even plug into audio!6. Books
A good book can keep a child occupied for quite a while.
7. Kid-proof camera
At this price, you may think it’d be better to get a real camera, but kid-proof cameras like the VTech Kidizoom Action Cam let kids record videos and take pictures without having to worry about protecting the camera. This one is all-weather and water-resistant up to 6’ underwater so it’s meant to be used and can probably take a bit of a beating.Related read: 50 Fun Christmas Gifts For Kids Under $50
8. Portable charger
Even kids need portable chargers these days, whether for their phones, handheld gaming systems, or tablets.9. Games
Games like Jenga or Connect Four are great because they can be used by the whole family. They can also give the kids something to do during their winter/Christmas break.10. Baby Yoda
Baby Yoda is so cute even adults want one. The great thing is you can get Baby Yoda as a plush character, in games, or as a figurine.
